Admission Notice for CAT 2011 CANDIDATES in Master in Business Management (MBM) course

Applications are invited from CAT 2011 candidates for admission to MBM Course (2012-2014). It is a University Masters Degree with State Subsidized Course fee and good placement facilities. Only Honours Candidates and/or Graduates with equivalent* degree need apply.

1. Admission form may directly be downloaded from the above websites of the University (http://www.caluniv.ac.in) or of the Department (http://www.bmcaluniv.org)

·         Downloaded application forms are to be submitted to the Office of the Department of Business Management, 1, Reformatory St, Kolkata – 700 027 (Ph: 033-2449-9418) enclosing a Bank Draft for Rs.1500/- drawn in favour of “Pro-Vice Chancellor (B.A. & F), Calcutta University”.

2. Admission form may also be obtained (at Rs. 1500/-) from:

·         The Calcutta University Sales Counter, Asutosh Building, College Street, Calcutta –700 073 (11 AM to 3 PM) by 24.02.2012  and

·         The office of the Department of Business Management, Calcutta University, Alipore Campus, 1 Reformatory Street, Kolkata 700027 (12 Noon – 3 PM) by 24.02.2012 

3. SC/ST/P.H. candidates shall be allowed a 50% concession on the price of the Admission Form.
4. Applications (duly filled in) to be received by 24.02.2012  (12 Noon – 3 PM) at the Department office (Alipore Campus, 6^th floor).    
5. There are reserved seats for SC/ST candidates as per University Rules.
6. Candidate must enclose with the application form a copy of mark sheet of the last examination passed & CAT Registration Number. SC/ST/PH candidates must enclose their supporting documents. Not duly filled in application is liable to be rejected. The date of GD & PI will be communicated in the website http://www.bmcaluniv.org  in the first week of March 2012.
7. The Website,  http://www.bmcaluniv.org  will display in the first week of March 2012 the list of candidates eligible for GD & PI. The Notice Board of the Department will also display the list. No candidate will be communicated personally.

*The Minimum qualifications for admission to the Courses is (i) Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) system with Honours in Arts/Science/Commerce etc. (ii) “Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & Technology / Medical Science / Professional Courses/ or its equivalent  from any recognized University”.
